Bonnie M. Steinwolf

Over the past two decades, Bonnie Steinwolf has developed a distinguished reputation as an experienced civil litigator who concentrates her practice on representing those who have been grievously injured as a result of their asbestos exposure. She is a passionate advocate who has successfully represented thousands of clients from a variety of different backgrounds.

She has been instrumental in the successful resolution of all kinds of cases, including but not limited to claims against product manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and landowners, all of whom utilized asbestos in one form or another. More recently, Bonnie has handled cases centered around asbestos-containing talcum powder products which resulted in very substantial settlements for women who later developed mesothelioma as a result of their use of these unsafe products. She has has handled many individual multi-million dollar claims during her career.

Ms. Steinwolf’s knowledge and experience have proven to be invaluable to her clients. She brings not just expertise and skill to a case, but warmth and compassion too. Her clients are more than just people whom she represents for a time, during the process of handling their case, they become like family. Bonnie believes that the relationship she has with her clients is paramount.

Prior to joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, Ms. Steinwolf spent her career at two highly regarded firms in New York City, where she represented victims and families injured by asbestos.

Ms. Steinwolf received her Juris Doctor’s degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 1998, where she was chosen to be an Associate Editor of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. Prior to entering law school, Bonnie received a Bachelor of Arts degree fom the State University of Albany, where she graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Betta Kappa.
