Epithelial

Epithelial Cancer Diagnosis

Epithelial cells are those between the skin and the internal organs. They protect the body from pathogens and debris. Sometimes, they can become cancerous through exposure to certain materials or organisms. By far the most common of these conditions is epithelioid mesothelioma, which is caused by the presence of asbestos fibers in the lungs. Although cancer patients with epithelial cancer cells have a much better prognosis and long-term survival rate than patients with regular mesothelioma, they suffer greatly because of the disease.

The NY cancer attorneys at Meirowitz&Wasserberg are familiar not only with the disease itself but also with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the disease and its victims. We understand that our clients are suffering, and we strive daily to make their experience, both in our offices and with their cases themselves, as hassle-free and stress-free as possible.

Our case history includes nearly a dozen favorable outcomes in major cases where millions of dollars were awarded either through settlement or damages. Of course, we cannot promise that our future clients will achieve the same level of success. These cases, however, highlight all of the ways that we aim to advocate for our clients.

At Meirowitz&Wasserberg, we partner with both medical professionals and people whose focus is insurance in an effort to bolster our clients’ cases. When necessary, we also work with law enforcement. As NY cancer attorneys, our top priority is our clients’ best interests, both legally and medically.

Our founding partners have a combined 40 years’ experience as client advocates. Whether you need us at the negotiating table, the courtroom, or both, both our partners and the firm’s associates will be there for you, seeking the best possible outcome for your case.
